Language Translation Project Started

We are pleased to announce that the first stage of the language translation project has been launched. Those of you who are interested in translating the ASP Nuke application to other languages can click over to the Translations Area to see what a monumental task lies before you.
The first stage of the translation project only covers the interface elements for the back-end site administration and all of the modules. You will notice that there are a ton of text phrases to be translated. This is no small task performing all of these translations and will (no doubt) take a considerable amount of time.
There are currently 1364 text items that require translation. We are requiring members to register with an account and login in order to add or edit translations. This allows us to give credit to those who have contributed their hard work.
I have setup a core set of languages which represent the most popular audience for the ASP Nuke software. Don't feel rejected if your language has been left out. If you know of a language which would be beneficial for the ASP Nuke project and you are interested in beginning translation work for that language, please contact us with your recommendations.
The translations will not appear on the home page of ASP Nuke until each one is significantly complete to be useful in the respective language. What this basically means is that a language must be at least 90% translated before visitors can view ASP Nuke in that language.
Please check out the Language Translation interface now to view the translation work. You will need to register in order to add or edit translations for a particular language.
I am considering offering awards for the translation work that is done on this site. But since I have currently received no substantial amount of income from this site, don't expect too much. I will have an announcement posted to explain more about this in detail at a later date.
