Development Notes

Well, I thought it is about time I give you an update on where things are headed with this project. I live in the San Diego area which is not a good place to live right about now. I have narrowly averted the 2003 firestorm disaster that has been sweeping through the area.
All is good though, and after a few days rest, I am ready to get back to the ASP Nuke project. I am just now finalizing an updated version of the installer that will make it easier for users to install and configure a Nuke site using the software.
After that I will continue work on improving the modularity of the site. At the same time, I will be looking at some work that others have been doing in the "nuke" arena and see what ideas I can glean from their work. There is definitely a lot to be gained from sharing of ideas here. So feel free to share any ideas from my work as you see fit, but you must adhere to the GPL copyright when copying code.
For those of you wondering why I started a new project instead of contributing to an existing project: I had some definite ideas about how I wanted things to be done and it is hard to affect a major change in an existing project. I wanted to develop the project at my own pace and have control over how the product evolves.
Don't get me wrong, I do welcome help from any other developers who would like to contribute code. The only way this project can grow and succeed is if others are willing to help out. I will post information on what help is needed for this project very soon.
